Charming local spot with contemporary decor and plenty of art pieces from local artists, creating a light and comfortable atmosphere. The food is great overall, but the pho can be inconsistent; some days it's incredibly delicious, and other times it tastes like it's made from a different recipe, almost as if "grandma" wasn't there to make it herself. Despite that, the spot is low-key, and the staff are really nice. It's a good spot in your rotation if you have Viet food cravings!

One of the few places with outdoor dining (serving soup no less!) and I love how they provide these benches with heat lamps and the candles add a little nice touch for ambiance. Pho dac biet: this is good! It hit the spot for a warm bowl of soup on a cold night. Pho tai: the steak is a bit tough but it was quite tasty. Service was super attentive in the beginning but a started to slow in the end. I think I'd come back and try spring rolls next time!

Casual spot for reasonably priced wine and exceptional noodles. The fresh spring rolls were delicious and had a great texture. The crab soup had really generous portions of fresh crab with an interesting tomato infused broth. The real star of the show was the Wagyu beef pho. The broth was honestly indescribable: so filled with flavor and extremely smooth. They also have a really robust Wine menu with wine by the glass, as well as pages of Wine And sake to buy. One giant table in the middle is definitely unique, but not ideal for big groups. They also have outdoor seating and a coffee area.

Blossom is an unexpected upscale yet casual Vietnamese restaurant in Santa Monica. My bf and I split and enjoyed our noodle salad! The beef and egg rolls were super flavorful and delicious. It's a perfect meal when you want something light yet filling and nutritious. The staff weren't super attentive but they seemed young, so we just chalked it up to first job vibes.

Don't have much to other reviews. Food is solid, nothing great; I think Nong La or Bun Mi have slightly better Bun and Pho, but perhaps the rice dishes are better here at Blossom. Service was okay. We really liked the ambiance at the restaurant though. Midcentury modern space to a T, beautiful lighting, pleasant spot to enjoy a meal. Glad we came and not sure if I'll make a concerted effort to return.
